About Me

My photo
I am a Homemaker and Freight Broker (with my husband) who has a love of needle crafts, sewing, crochet, cross-stitch. I learned to sew in 2007, really love using vintage patterns (1940's, 50's, 60's) & and seeing how I can modernize them with fabric choices and trims). I need 25 hours in a day to get to everything I want to do!

Win Some Lose Some

Won the 30's Butterick (happy dance!) at price higher than I really wanted to go for my budget, but it is close to my size and perfect since it is fairly plain and adaptable for today, lost the 40's Advance for the 2nd time, a one piece pattern to be made from tubular jersey knit. If anyone has it and wants to sell it, please let me know. It's one of those gotta have and I have only seen it twice.

Love that tubular knit pattern- what a unique pattern for the period!
