About Me

My photo
I am a Homemaker and Freight Broker (with my husband) who has a love of needle crafts, sewing, crochet, cross-stitch. I learned to sew in 2007, really love using vintage patterns (1940's, 50's, 60's) & and seeing how I can modernize them with fabric choices and trims). I need 25 hours in a day to get to everything I want to do!

End of Summer

I have many items cut out and in various stages, but cannot get motivated to finish them, or correct them. I am cleaning the sewing room instead, which is so overgrown with fabric, UFO's, patterns, etc. I will not finish today, but trying to get to the bottom of the cutting table at a minimum. I have so many patterns in disarray, out of their envelopes, pieces and scraps lying about. My husband has been patient, since it is the dining room, he passes through it to get to the office, but I am taking advantage of the kids outside in the sprinkler to get a dent into it. Wish me luck, they may have to send a search party after me.

I hope you found your way out! I would need a St Bernard to rescue me as well if I were to clean out the sewing room.
