About Me

My photo
I am a Homemaker and Freight Broker (with my husband) who has a love of needle crafts, sewing, crochet, cross-stitch. I learned to sew in 2007, really love using vintage patterns (1940's, 50's, 60's) & and seeing how I can modernize them with fabric choices and trims). I need 25 hours in a day to get to everything I want to do!

Shopping today

Went to town and bought a tux for Mike as he is in the K of C's and needed one for upcoming events. Also stopped in Hobby Lobby for more Steam a Seam and found a yellow fleece remnant for the baby's Halloween costume of Sponge Bob. The rest I will decide later. Right now, I had a whim and have been sewing up charms for 2 baby receiving blankets to be backed with flannel. May list them on etsy.

The yellow fleece for Sponge Bob sounds so cute!

I found the backing fabric for that quilt at Walmart 2 or 3 years ago. I love that fabric! It went with the colors on the front really well and had all that farm stuff that I like on it.

I went to check out your Etsy store. You have some cute things in there. I especially love the Child's butterfly smock. Perfect for crafting time. Better than the old t-shirts my kids wear.
