About Me

My photo
I am a Homemaker and Freight Broker (with my husband) who has a love of needle crafts, sewing, crochet, cross-stitch. I learned to sew in 2007, really love using vintage patterns (1940's, 50's, 60's) & and seeing how I can modernize them with fabric choices and trims). I need 25 hours in a day to get to everything I want to do!

UFO #3, Third time a charm!

A third UFO out of the way, S4138 skirt, in a brick red crepey rayon blend from Hancock's. Laugh all you want, this one lacked pulling the finishing threads! Put it aside & forgot. I will try to wear it tomorrow to church.

It sounds as if you are making a lot of progress on your UFOs!

Wow, you are really finishing a lot of UFOs! I need to do the same.

I think you are right about the Vintage quilt top. I should probably totally hand quilt it. I'm thinking of putting it in the quilting frame and slowly work on it all fall and winter. Its been around for 50 years, no need to rush through it now!

Thanks for your input!
