About Me

My photo
I am a Homemaker and Freight Broker (with my husband) who has a love of needle crafts, sewing, crochet, cross-stitch. I learned to sew in 2007, really love using vintage patterns (1940's, 50's, 60's) & and seeing how I can modernize them with fabric choices and trims). I need 25 hours in a day to get to everything I want to do!

Scrapped for now

After one reader comment, I decided to scrap it for now as a UFO. I bagged and tagged it. I love the fabric but have no budget to order more right now, so I will either hold off until I do or search stash for a suitable fabric to use the yoke, which is a mottled terra cotta that matched. I will probably end up buying more of the print, recut and try again, but not today.

On to another cut out item...

Myra- thanks for the link to the pattern grading. I love the fabric that you chose for the tunic! Is that liberty? I am not good about matching CB. I think, if it will bother you in the long run then you need to recut. Sometimes on less expensive fabric I say so what but on the good stuff. I will wait and recut. Honestly no one would probably notice but you. Good luck.
