Friday Pattern Giveaway!

Today's freebie is B5173 in a size 16, B 38, W 29, H 40. A semi-fitted slightly A-line dress with optional sleeves, a slightly standing neckline with a front slit. Some of the Vogue patterns with the funnel neckline from the past year remind me of this look. No date, I would give it late 1960's, suitable for linen, pique, broadcloth, synthetics, brocade, gabardine, lightweight wool. I would also include double/stable knits (probably included in synthetics). An economical pattern, it looks like you can make it with 2.25 yds of 45" wide or 2 yds of 54" wide plus a bit of interfacing. Also need a 22" zipper and hooks/eyes, optional seam binding.

Leave a comment with your name and how to contact you. Also please link this giveaway to your blog! I will post a winner Monday morning.

Have a nice weekend, I hope we all get well soon, 2 kids and myself have had a summer cold and congestion.

This is making me feel awfully old. I owned many patters similar to that one, and made dozens of dresses exactly like that when I was younger!

I'm with Deb. That is the style I wore in high school and college. Well, in college I rarely wore a dress. That was the hippy era!! LOL I'm linking this giveaway to my blog.

I like the seaming on that pattern too. Unfortunately, I remember when that was the current style, lol.
I don't have a blog, but spend too much time reading other people's blogs.
