Friday Free Patterns

Two Half-Size Slenderettes patterns up for grabs, both size 14 1/2, which equates to B35, W29, H39 and designed for a woman with a fuller figure with a height of approx. 5'3" and under. I would bet these are maybe late 50's or early '60's, no date given. I am petite and love half-sizes, but these are 4" under my bust size, and am too lazy to size them up since I have many others closer to my size to work up over the next couple of years. Plus raglan sleeves are not attractive on me nor are button fronts, esp. all the way up. So leave a comment on how you envision these, it is one random drawing to be held Sunday night. Also link back on your blog and include a way to contact you (blog or email).

Well, I love those button-front dresses and peter pan collars! I envision them as fun spring or summer dresses, either in a bright solid or perhaps a large, abstract floral print. I've recently made a similar dress and I really enjoy it.

I love them, but with my 5'6' heigth and #$@%#$ size bust they won't work for me.

I am such a sucker for a lovely frock. Count me in. Even though I'll have to grade up in the circumference department, that shoulder to bust measurement sounds perfect!

OOh, those measurements would work for me!! AND I see summer dresses that would look great for the day and then add the right jewelry, shoes, scarf, and off I go to have drinks after work. :)
Hi, found your blog from Sew Retro!

I'm actually quite petite, so would love to be in the draw!

You can find me over at veronicadarling.blogspot.com

Yay for small ladies!

I love them. While I'm taller, and fatter, I can see these in a summery print in hot pink and orange I got. I just think they're great all around.

I, too see it as summer dresses in solid or print colors and would like to be included in the draw.

Thanks for the opportunity.
