About Me

My photo
I am a Homemaker and Freight Broker (with my husband) who has a love of needle crafts, sewing, crochet, cross-stitch. I learned to sew in 2007, really love using vintage patterns (1940's, 50's, 60's) & and seeing how I can modernize them with fabric choices and trims). I need 25 hours in a day to get to everything I want to do!

Cleaning house

Busy cleaning house, we have had a stomach bug in the house since Friday, running through us like wildfire. I had 2 home yesterday, one today, plus the baby, Mike & I were not immune to it. I also have to clean since C's 1st communion is this weekend and we have guests coming to the house afterwards and I don't feel like doing anything! I still have the TAMU baby dress to finish for Saturday's shower and my dress for Sunday. Both are in the finishing stages. Today, I am working on woodwork, walls, doors, etc. Also neatened the desk some, need to dust though. I want major cleaning done by Friday evening, since I have to make food and cakes on Saturday, plus the shower and regular cleaning after the kids. Wish us luck on this one!

No rush with the patterns. I too am in the process of cleaning, mostly my studio, as my parents are coming back from Florida. Good incentive that. Hope everyone feels better and you have a fun family weekend.
