About Me

My photo
I am a Homemaker and Freight Broker (with my husband) who has a love of needle crafts, sewing, crochet, cross-stitch. I learned to sew in 2007, really love using vintage patterns (1940's, 50's, 60's) & and seeing how I can modernize them with fabric choices and trims). I need 25 hours in a day to get to everything I want to do!

A decision to try...

After discussing some ideas with my husband, I am going to try my hand at online selling of handmade dresses for little girls. It is what I really enjoy making. I may also try a vintage pattern or two in womens sizes, but girls are way easier. We really could use the extra income, I have plenty of stash to make some one of a kind type dresses. I plan on having a few by the weekend posted.

Congrats on the decision and I wish you lots of luck!
There is nothing better than to make a living(or at least some extra cash) doing something you enjoy!

Good luck! Wish I had some girls to buy for. Maybe my SIL's twins will be girls....

I'd love to trade fabric for patterns. I wear a size 12. I'll also give your dresses a shout-out on my blog if you'd like. Will you list them on Etsy or ArtFire? How is ArtFire as a selling venue anyway?
