Big question about Butterick 5315

I am working on B5315, shirtdress from this spring's line. So far, so good, except I think the instructions about the front facings may be wrong. It tells you to fold on the outer foldline to the right side, then fold on the remaining to the other side, then baste, but that leaves an exposed raw edge. Or, (lightbulb moment), do I have the foldlines reversed??? Please help if you can while I check that possibility out!!!

Did you find an answer to your problem? Because I have come to the same conclusion that the cut edge would be exposed. Please post how you resolved it. Thanks! Jen

I'm making my third dress from that pattern, and I just folded it so that the raw edge was tucked inside. it never messed with my finished product. I hate raw edges.

Thank you! I am not going crazy then.... I have been online for hours trying to figure out if someone else had an answer to that raw edge. I am going to fold it in too... thanks!
