About Me

My photo
I am a Homemaker and Freight Broker (with my husband) who has a love of needle crafts, sewing, crochet, cross-stitch. I learned to sew in 2007, really love using vintage patterns (1940's, 50's, 60's) & and seeing how I can modernize them with fabric choices and trims). I need 25 hours in a day to get to everything I want to do!

Sunday post

Today may not be much (any) sewing, some housework is needed today. I did go to Hancock's yesterday & buy black knit to make the popular S4076 knit top, either short sleeved version instead of the Vogue wrap top. WHen I cut the skirt, the pattern is in horizontal waves, ok for the skirt, but I don't want to be covered in it. I am thinking black solid knit with maybe a neck bias binding on the S wrap top in the dots to tie it in.

I placed the site meter several days ago & noticed some repeat visitors (maybe), at least by the locations. I am interested who views this site & welcome comments from you on my posts or whatever as long it's not negative. You can give me criticism on my sewing, please, though, if you see something could be done better. I am interested in knowing who's looking, though, because I may have been visiting your site already.

Hi Myra, I can't recall if I've commented on any of your previous posts because I visit and comment on so many! But I'm Kristy from Sydney, so that should explain who is appearing on your site meter from Sydney. And I have no criticisms whatsoever of your sewing - I just like to have a sticky at what everyone else is making, it's very inspirational

Great, I thought that was you since I read yours. Your sewing, esp. the maternity, has been awesome. That's about when I started sewing, but only made a few items.
